Z & C Purlin system Manufacturers in Uttar Pradesh

Z & C Purlin System Manufacturers in Uttar Pradesh – Precustomised Building Products Pvt. Ltd.

Our works are at Hapur, off M.G. Road in the UPSIDC industrial area, which puts us within a couple of hours of most of the sites we serve — Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, and the rest of the NCR industrial belt. That proximity changes how a purlin order actually plays out. Instead of a drawing going back and forth by email for two weeks, our engineer can be at your site or your consultant's office the same week, checking a bay dimension in person before we cut a single section.

We manufacture Z and C purlins in-house, not through a job-work vendor, which means when a UP client calls asking for a revised BBS because a bay got resized, we're not waiting on someone else's production slot to respond.

Z Versus C: A Quick, Honest Explanation

Both are cold-formed light-gauge steel sections rolled from galvanized coil, and both do the same basic job — they sit across your primary rafters and carry the roof or wall sheeting load down to the frame. The difference is in the flange direction. A Z-section has its flanges pointing opposite ways, which lets it overlap or "nest" with the next purlin at a support — this is what makes Z-sections the standard choice for continuous multi-span sheds, which describes most of the logistics parks and factory buildings going up across UP right now. A C-section has both flanges facing the same direction and is generally used at end bays, as eave struts, or in simpler single-span structures.

We roll-form both from 1.5mm to 3.0mm thickness, to IS 801 for cold-formed steel structural members, with hot-dip galvanizing typically at Z275 or Z350 depending on the exposure your consultant has specified. If you're not sure which section and thickness your span actually needs, send us the primary frame drawing — our team will work it out against your load case rather than just quoting whatever's cheapest to produce.

Why UP-Based Clients Work With Us

  • Sections cut, punched, and bundled per bay to your exact BBS — not generic stock lengths
  • Site visits and sample approvals happen fast, since we're not flying an engineer in from another state
  • Hot-dip galvanized finish suited to both dry-heat summers and the humidity that follows monsoon
  • Pre-punched holes at standard PEB bolt spacing so erection doesn't need on-site drilling
  • Load tables and section drawings shared before production, so there's no mismatch discovered mid-erection
  • Short dispatch times to Noida, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut and the broader NCR, since freight distance is minimal

What We're Actually Supplying UP Projects

A large share of our purlin orders in UP go straight onto our own primary framing systems — when both the frame and the purlins come from the same shop, bay spacing and overlap length are already matched, so your erection team isn't reconciling two vendors' tolerances on site. We also supply purlins for standalone PEB structures, warehousing and logistics sheds, and increasingly for cold storage facilities as UP's food-processing corridor around Noida and Meerut has expanded. For taller builds, we've supplied section packages for multi-storey buildings, where purlin depth and spacing typically change floor to floor and can't just be copy-pasted from a single-storey shed spec.

If the same project needs roll-formed decking, crimp or curved roof sheeting, or extra structural fabrication beyond the light-gauge sections, that's all produced out of the same Hapur unit — one factory, one delivery schedule, one point of contact for revisions.

How We Handle an Order, Start to Finish

Send us your primary frame GA drawing, or loop us in earlier if your consultant is still finalising bay spacing — we're close enough to sit in on that conversation if it helps. We calculate purlin depth, thickness, spacing and overlap against your wind and load requirements and send back a BBS plus load table for approval before anything goes into production. Once you sign off, sections are cut, punched, galvanized, and bundled bay-wise, and dispatched by road — usually a short enough haul that we can phase deliveries to match your erection sequence rather than dumping the whole order on site at once.

Because production, punching, and galvanizing are all under one roof, a mid-project change — say, swapping a purlin thickness after a design review — doesn't mean starting the queue over. We can usually turn around a revised batch fast enough that it doesn't hold up your erection crew.

Before Anything Ships

Every batch is checked for gauge thickness, section tolerance, and galvanization coating weight before dispatch, and we share test certificates on request — most UP industrial and warehousing clients ask for these as a matter of course during QA sign-off. If you're sourcing more than purlins, browse our full product range, read more about the company on our About Us page, or reach out with your drawings and we'll get a BBS and quote back to you quickly.

Common Questions From UP Clients

Since you're local, can someone visit our site before we finalise the order? Usually yes. Being based in Hapur means a site visit or a meeting with your consultant's office in Noida, Ghaziabad, or Lucknow doesn't need days of planning — it's often the same week.

Do you only supply purlins, or the full frame as well? Both. Most UP clients order purlins alongside our primary framing systems, but we're equally happy to supply purlins alone against another fabricator's frame, provided we have the GA drawing to match spacing and overlap correctly.

What's the minimum order size? We handle both small single-shed orders and large multi-bay logistics park packages. Smaller orders naturally take a shorter production slot; larger ones get phased dispatch matched to your erection sequence so material doesn't pile up on site.

Can you match an existing shed's purlin spec if we're extending it? Generally, yes — send us a sample section or the original drawing if you have it, and we'll match thickness, depth, and hole spacing so the extension ties into the existing structure cleanly.
